E Cadets

What is eCadets?

eCadets is a structured pupil-led peer empowerment eSafety programme that is being implemented in KS2.

There are currently 8 eCadets in Pencoed Primary School (2 children from years 3, 4, 5 & 6).

Our eCadets are:

  • Amelia
  • Ria
  • Kian
  • Connor
  • Emily
  • Oliver
  • Becci
  • Kian

Our eCadets get their own eCadet Zone, bursting with information and resources. They are set termly challenges through which they learn new eSafety skills and disseminate the knowledge across the whole school community.

Pupils love it, as they are in competition with other member schools in earning points to win the league and prizes.
