Internet Safety at PPS
Internet safety is incredibly important to everybody at Pencoed Primary School. As a school, we encourage our children to use technology and the internet to develop their learning skills but we also recognise the importance of doing this safely. Throughout the curriculum, the children are taught about a wide range of eSafety topics, for example; securing personal information, fake news, copyright and online communication.
Each half term, every KS2 class is set a challenge through which they learn new eSafety skills and disseminate the knowledge across the whole school community.
Pupils love it as they are in competition with other classes to see whose content will be shared on the school Twitter page (@pencoedprimary)
