Pencoed Primary School is an exciting place to be at the moment. To support with the development of IT throughout the school we have appointed some Year 6 pupils to be iLeaders. The pupils were given an explanation of the roles and then invited to apply. After a rigorous selection procedure, our first 10 iLeaders have been appointed and are looking forward to getting stuck into their new role!
What will an iLeader do?
An iLeader will be:
Trained alongside the other 15 iLeaders in the use of iPads across the school.
Responsible for the upkeep of our iPads and docking station.
Responsible for researching and downloading new apps that will benefit our pupils.
Responsible for making sure they iPads are fully charged ready for the school day.
Asked to pass on their knowledge, and train the staff and pupils from Nursery – Year 6 on the use of iPads and specific apps.
A hugely important person in our 21st century digital school!
