As a school in Wales, Pencoed Primary is required by law to review and publish its Strategic Equality Plan (SEP). The purpose of the plan is to show the steps we plan to take to make Pencoed Primary a fairer place.
In our plan we have to include a series of equality objectives (some of the things that we plan to do) to show how we intend to promote equal opportunities for all and make a real difference to the lives of pupils, parents, school staff and governors in Pencoed Primary.
In order to help us review and formulate our plan please would you complete the attached questionnaire and return it to school by Monday 22nd February. We will take into account the things that you tell us are important to you in terms of equality and fairness, and this will help us to develop our equality objectives.
Please click on the consultation document to read our current objectives and make comment.
Please contact the school office if you need any further information.
The winners of the St Dwynwen art club competition winners have been announced. The children were required to recreate a scene from the story of St Dwynwen. Well done everybody!!!!
This week Jacky from Sainsburys, Bridgend came to school to present us with a set of 40 story books. We were one of the lucky schools selected. The story books are now going to be used for 'Guided Reading' sessions with our pupils. Many thanks to Sainsbury for their kind gesture.
