The aim of the DCF is to develop the children's digital skills. It focuses on enhancing their digital skills across the whole curriculum. At Pencoed Primary we carefully consider when technology can be used to enhance the learning experience for the children. The DCF teaches children how to use technology responsibly, use technology effectively to communicate and collaborate with peers, create engaging content enhance their data handling skills and enhance their computational thinking.
At Pencoed Primary we use a wide range of technology to achieve the aims of the DCF. Some examples include Google GSuite, Adobe suite, green screen technology, Lego for Education We Do 2.0 and more.
