On Monday the school held its first ever Christmas Community Coffee Afternoon. We invited representatives from a number of local groups and invited local businesses and groups who have supported us throughout the year.
We had a fantastic response, with representatives from Open the Book, WI, Healthy Schools Team, local residents and the Pencoed OAP society. Coffee and cakes were provided (home baked by our very kind staff members) and a full programme of events occurred, showcasing the diverse talent throughout the school. We ended the afternoon with traditional carols, led by the excellent school choir.
Many thanks to everyone in the local community who has supported the school thorough the year; Merry Christmas and best wishes for a happy and healthy 2015.
On the 25th September 2014 Richard Clark and Lynn Griffiths took part in Survival of the Fittest, Cardiff. They both completed the challenge in 2 hours 16 minutes!
We would like to say a big thank you to them both for raising an amazing £243 towards for our Observation and Assessment Class.
